Ministry of Public Administration 06 April 2023 In view of the clearance letter received on the date, applications are being invited from the permanent residents of Patuakhali district in the prescribed form introduced by the Ministry of Public Administration to fill the various vacant posts in the District Commissioner’s office, Patuakhali and Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s offices under its jurisdiction and Circuit House. Patuakhali DC Office Job Apply Conditions:

01. The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh and a permanent resident of the Patuakhali district.

02. Candidate Age 02/05/2013 Must be between 18 to 30 years on a date. Age limit is relaxable up to 32 years as per government rules in the case of children of freedom fighters and physically challenged. However, according to the Ministry of Public Administration dated 22 September 2022, the age of the applicant is 25/03/2020. Candidates will be eligible to apply if they are within the upper age limit on the date. No affidavit regarding age will be accepted.

03. Written application in a prescribed form to District Commissioner, Patuakhali next 02/05/2013. to reach by post at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Patuakhali during office hours within the date. No direct application will be accepted. The application form launched by the Ministry of Public Administration is available at www.mopa.gov.bd and www.patuakhali.gov.bd. The application form should be filled out manually. If the application is not submitted in the prescribed form, the application will be considered defective and invalid.

04. Incomplete, defective applications received after the prescribed date and time will be considered rejected.

05. In the case of married female candidates the permanent address should be mentioned in the citizenship certificate of the husband.

06. The name of the post and, where applicable, the name of the quota should be clearly written on the application envelope submitted by the applicant.

 

07. The following documents should be attached to the application form:

  • (a) 03 (three) copies of a recent passport-size photo and 01 (one) stamp-size attested photograph of the candidate.
  • (b) Attested photocopies of educational qualifications and other certificates. No mark sheets or testimonials are acceptable.
  • (c) Character certificate issued by a gazetted officer of the first class.
  • (d) Attested photocopy of the National Identity Card and Birth Registration Certificate mentioned in the candidate’s application.
  • (e) Original citizenship certificate issued by the Municipal Mayor or concerned UP Chairman.
  • (f) Examination fee through treasury challan (Non-refundable) Code No. 1-0747-0000-2031 Tk 100/- (One Hundred) should be deposited in any branch of Bangladesh Bank/Sonali Bank and the original copy of treasury challan should be attached with the application.
  • (g) A return envelope affixed with an unused postal stamp of 10/- (ten) containing the name of the post and the candidate’s name and address to facilitate the issue of admit card to the correct address shall be enclosed with the application. The name of the post and special quota (if any) should be written in legible letters on the envelope and the full name and address of the applicant should be written in legible letters on the right side.
  • (h) Departmental (applicable to job candidates) candidates must apply through appropriate authority. Only on April 12, 2023. Applications approved by the authorities are admissible after the publication of this notification. Also, age will not be relaxable in the case of job candidates.
  • (i) In case of attestation, the attestator must be a 1st class gazetted officer. And should have been sealed with a clear name and designation of the officer.

08. Recruitment will be followed as per the latest Govt Rules regarding Quota for Freedom Fighter’s Son-Daughter (Son-Daughter’s Son-Daughter as applicable)/Women/Ansar & VDP/Orphan/Minor Ethnic/Physically Handicapped candidates. In this case, the candidate has to submit the attested copy of the certificate/certificate issued by the competent authority in support of the quota claim and the original copy has to be produced at the time of oral examination. Otherwise, he will be considered a general candidate.

09. In case of candidates belonging to minority ethnic groups, a minor ethnic group certificate issued by the District Commissioner / appropriate authority should be submitted along with the application form, and in case of physically challenged, an attested photocopy of the certificate issued by the Deputy Director of Social Services Department / Head of appropriate department/department/organization should be submitted.

10. Candidates will be given a written test of 40 marks (Bengali 10, English 10, Maths 10, Relevant Technical/General Knowledge 10) and an Oral test of 10 marks of a total of 50 marks.

11. Candidates who have passed the written test must produce the original copies of all the certificates mentioned in the application form at the time of the oral test.

12. Attested 01 (one) set copy of all the records mentioned in the recruitment circular and application form should be submitted to the authority conducting the oral examination.

13. In the case of candidates who are members of the Ansar and Village Defense Force, the certificate issued by the District Commandant, Ansar, and VDP office must be submitted.

14. In the case of Jat Harijan, Jat Harijan Sanad issued by the Municipal Mayor/Union Parishad Chairman should be submitted.

15. After receiving the appointment, if it is proven that any information has been concealed or wrong information has been provided, the appointment order of the concerned candidate will be canceled
