District Commissioner’s office, Gopalganj recruitment circular for various posts. In view of the clearance letter of the memorandum of the Ministry of Public Administration, with the aim of directly filling the vacant posts described below under the general administration of the office of the District Commissioner, Gopalganj and the offices of the subordinate Upazila Nirbahi Officers, as per the National Pay Scale, 2015, for the purpose of appointment on a full temporary basis from the permanent residents of Gopalganj district under the following conditions. Applications are being invited in the prescribed application form. The application form should reach this office by post on 16 February 2024 by 4.00 pm. The original copy of the treasury challan should be submitted along with the application form by paying a deposit of Tk 200/- (Two Hundred) towards the examination fee in code no.

The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh and a permanent resident of Gopalganj district. Anyone married or committed to marry someone who is not a citizen of Bangladesh will not be considered eligible to apply. Interested candidates should apply in the job application form as per the circular issued by Ministry of Public Administration vide memorandum number 05.110.0000.00.00.08.14-01 dated 29/12/2014. The application form can be collected from the Ministry of Public Administration www.forms.gov.bd website, District Commissioner’s office, the Gopalganj website www.gopalganj.gov.bd and the establishment branch and information service center of this office. Required information should be provided as per the prescribed application form instructions. Candidates have to fill the prescribed application form manually and give their signature along with the date in the prescribed place of the application form.

Married female candidates should mention their husband’s permanent address. The application should be submitted to the District Commissioner, Gopalganj. The application form should reach this office by post on 16 February 2024 by 4.00 pm. Hand-in-hand applications will not be accepted. Incomplete/defective, wrong information and late applications will be considered rejected. District Commissioner and Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s office employee recruitment rules, 2020 will be followed to fill the posts mentioned in this recruitment circular.

A candidate can apply for only one post. Candidates working in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations must submit the No Objection Letter from the appropriate authority along with the application form. The following documents should be attached with the application form. Candidate’s recent 5×5 cm. 03 (three) copies of size color photograph (by 1st class gazetted officer
authenticated). The original copy of the treasury challan should be submitted along with the application form by paying a deposit of Tk 200/- (Two Hundred) towards the examination fee in code no.

 

10/- (ten) rupees along with the application form containing the name and address of the candidate for the purpose of issue of admit card to the correct address. 01 (one) 10.5×4.5 inches return envelope affixed with value postage stamp should be enclosed. Attested copy of citizenship certificate issued by Mayor/Union Parishad Chairman of concerned municipality. Attestation of candidate’s educational qualification, technical education and training, experience, no objection certificates Copies (including Transcript and Computer Training Certificate). Character certificate issued by a gazetted officer of first class (attested copy not acceptable).

National Identity Card or attested copy of Birth Registration Certificate issued by Mayor/Union Parishad Chairman of concerned Municipality. Signed by Hon’ble Minister/Minister of State/Advisor of Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and Advisor to Bangladesh Muktijodha Sangsad Hon’ble Prime Minister/Chief Advisor to the applicant job candidate who is the son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter of freedom fighter/martyr freedom fighter. Attested copy of provisional certificate by No certificate other than such certificate shall be accepted as freedom fighter certificate. Note that if the applicant is the son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter of a freedom fighter/martyr, the certificate given by the Mayor/Union Parishad Chairman of the concerned municipality to the effect that the applicant is the son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter of the freedom fighter/martyr.

Attested copy of the certificate issued by the Deputy Director of the concerned District Social Services Office in case of Physically Handicapped and Orphans. Attested copy of the certificate issued by the District Commissioner in case of minorities. Attested copy of certificate issued by above authority as per latest policy in case of Ansar and VDP candidates. In case of attestation of the documents related to the application, there should be a clear seal with the name and designation of the attesting officer.

Candidate’s age limit should be between 18 to 30 years as on 16 February 2024. Maximum age limit is relaxable up to 32 (thirty two) years in case of sons/daughters of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and disabled candidates. However, the age limit is 30 years for the grandson/granddaughter of the martyred freedom fighter. No affidavit will be accepted for age determination Attend written/oral/both test at the place and date as directed by the authority. Candidates will not be paid any kind of TA/DA for appearing in the examination. Job candidates must apply through the appropriate authority within the stipulated time. No advance copy of application will be considered acceptable.

 

All government rules and quotas will be followed in recruitment. The name of the post, special quota (if any) should be mentioned in bold letters on the top of the envelope and full name and address of the applicant should be mentioned in clear letters on the left side. The authority reserves the right to suspend, reschedule, extend and cancel the operation of this recruitment circular without assigning any reason. The decision of the authority shall be final without assigning any reason in respect of acceptance/rejection of application and appointment.

 

No objection can be raised in this regard. Any recommendation or advocacy regarding recruitment will be considered as disqualification of the candidate. All types of certificates and quota related certificates including citizenship certificate, national identity card/birth registration certificate, educational qualification, experience certificate (if any), transcription and computer certificate at the time of participation in the oral examination of candidates who have passed the written examination.
