Food Department (Employee) Recruitment Rules, 2018 for the purpose of filling up the employable vacancies under the Food Department including the revenue sector under the National Pay Scale 2015 in grades 13 to 19 for direct recruitment of manpower in the following permanent posts under the conditions mentioned on the side of the post online from genuine Bangladeshi citizens (http:/ /dgfood.teletalk.com.bd) Applications are invited. Candidates for the posts mentioned in Serial No. 1, 4, and 8 of the circular will have to participate in the written test in Bengali, English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. Candidates who qualify for the written test will have to participate in the oral test. Candidates for the posts mentioned in serial no. 2, 3, 13, and 14 of the circular will have to participate in the written test in Bengali, English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. Candidates who clear the written test will have to attend the practical test. Only candidates who qualify for the practical test can appear in the oral test.

Candidates for the posts mentioned in Circular No. 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21 will have to participate in the written test on Bengali, English, Maths related subjects and General Knowledge. Candidates who are interested in participating in the exam can fill out the application on the website http://dgfood.teletalk.com.bd. Online application form filling and examination fee submission date and time: 12/09/2023 AD. 10.00 am. The last date and time for submission of the application form online: is 11/10/2023 AD. 5.00 pm. Candidates who have received the User ID within the said period can submit the examination fee through SMS within the next 72 (seventy-two) hours from the time of applying online. In the online application form, the candidate will scan his color photograph (length 300 × width 300) pixel and signature (length 300 × width 80) pixel and upload it. Image size should be a maximum of 100KB and signature size should be a maximum of 60KB

The information filled in the online application will be used later in all the activities, so the candidate will be 100% sure about the correctness of all the information filled out before applying online. Candidates shall keep a print copy of the filled online application as an aid for any examination-related need and submit one copy during the oral examination. Rules of sending SMS and payment of examination fee: After completing the application form by filling out the online application (Application Form) according to the instructions and uploading the photo and signature, the application preview with the photo can be seen on the computer. An Applicant’s Copy with a User ID, Photograph, and Signature on completion of submitting the application form accurately will get Candidates should print or download the Applicant’s Copy and save it.

A User ID number will be provided in the applicant’s copy and using the User ID number the candidate can send 02 (two) SMS through any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number in the following manner for an examination fee of 200/- (Two Hundred) for the post mentioned in the order No. 1-21. Taka 23/-(twenty-three) inclusive of Teletalk service charge Total Taka 223/-(two hundred and twenty-three) Taka 100/-(one hundred) for examination fee for the post mentioned in order no.22 and Teletalk service charge inclusive of Taka 12/-(twelve) ) Total of Rs.112/-(one hundred and twelve) (non-refundable) to be deposited within 72 (seventy-two) hours of submission of application. It is especially noted here that even if all the parts of the application are submitted online, the online application will not be accepted under any circumstances until the examination fee is submitted.

Obtaining Admit Card from http://dgfood.teletalk.com.bd website or Food Department Website:
www.dgfood.gov.bd and through SMS on the candidate’s mobile phone (only eligible candidates) will be intimated in due course. All communication related to the examination will be completed on the mobile phone given by the candidate in the online application, so keeping the number active all the time, reading the SMS, and following the received instructions immediately is prohibited. Later, the candidate will take a print (in color) of the admit card using the User ID and Password sent in the SMS. Candidates must produce this admit card at the time of the written and oral tests.  Candidates can retrieve their User ID and Password by following the below-mentioned SMS procedure from Cable Teletalk’s pre-paid mobile phone.
