Stipend Notification 2023 for students studying in 1st year of graduation (pass) and equivalent level. Application for the degree (pass) and equivalent level stipend in the financial year 2022-23 can be made from 15/03/2023 to 06/04/2023. Only degrees in 1st year (2020-21) can apply for the scholarship this year. To get the scholarship, the student has to apply online and submit the documents to the respective college. The amount of the stipend is 4900/-. Detailed instructions for applying can be found in the respective college notices.

It is hereby informed for the information of all concerned that the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust has awarded the 2022 scholarship to the poor and meritorious students studying in various educational institutions under Dhaka University, National University, and Islamic Arabic University in the 1st year (2020-21 academic year) of graduation (pass) and equivalent level or degree. – The stipend will be paid in 23 financial years.

Degree Scholarship Application Procedure 2023:

1. Only poor and meritorious students studying in 1st year (the 2020-21 academic year) of graduation (pass) and equivalent level or degree can register online by visiting the link https://estipend.pmeat.gov.bd
to do;

2. The concerned students can apply online using the link system https://estipend.pmeat.gov.bd from 15/3/2023 AD to 06/4/2023 by following the guidelines for use of the e-stipend system;

3. Follow the usage guidelines provided on the website as required for registration;

4. For data entry in the software, you can log in using the User ID and Password previously given by the head of all the educational institutions and the Upazila Secondary Education Officer or, using the User ID and Password used for the EMIS software of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education;

5. After completing the overall process, the heads of the educational institutions will be notified on 18/4/2023 AD. Upload a signed report and send it to the Trust online using the system to provide the list of selected students within the date; And

6. No hard copy of the list of preliminarily selected students needs to be sent to the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust.

Degree Scholarship Application Eligibility 2023:

‘Prime Minister’s Education Support Trust’ was formed in 2012 as per the benevolent intention of the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to ensure the education of poor and talented students. Stipends, financial assistance, grants, and fellowships in higher education are being provided to poor and meritorious students studying in schools/colleges/madrasas/universities from trust funds.

Conditions for receipt of stipend: 1. The student must be a regular student studying at the degree (pass)/Fazil level to receive the scholarship. 2. At least 75% attendance in the classroom (class) as a regular student. In this case (Bangla/English) can be counted as a compulsory subject. 3. The total annual income of the parent of the student selected for receiving the scholarship should be less than Rs.1,00,000/- (one lakh). The total land holding of the parent/guardian should be less than 0.05 (decimal zero five) percent residing in the City Corporation area and less than 0.75 (decimal seventy-five) percent in other areas.
