Candidates’ age limit is 18-30 years as of 31 October 2023 and sons and daughters of brave freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and physically challenged are 18-32 years. As per recruitment policy selected candidates will have to appear in written and practical (where applicable) tests. Only candidates who qualify for the written and practical (where applicable) tests will be considered eligible for the oral test. An affidavit in respect of age is not admissible.

The date and schedule of written, oral, and practical examination will be notified later on Customs, Excise and VAT Commissionerate, Comilla through the notice board and website www.cevccumilla.gov.bd and SMS on personal mobile phones of the candidates.

No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the Written/Practical/Oral Examination. Incomplete, defective, and late applications will be considered rejected. The rules issued by the Government will be applicable in the matter of recruitment. The number of vacancies mentioned in the recruitment notification may decrease/increase. The Authority reserves the right to partially or fully modify/cancel this notification.

Online Application Form Filling & Exam Fee Submission Start Date & Time 01 November 2023 AD 10:00 AM-10:00 AM. The last date and time for submission of the application form online is 30 November 2023 AD 05:00 PM. Candidates who have received the User ID within the said period can submit the examination fee via SMS within 72 (seventy-two) hours from submitting the application form online. Candidates shall keep a print copy of the online filled application form as an aid for any examination-related need and submit one copy during the oral examination.

After completing the online application form by properly filling the application form and uploading the photo and signature according to the instructions, the application preview with the photo can be seen on the computer. If any information is wrong in the Applicant’s Copy the image is unclear (completely black/completely white/blurred) or the photograph/signature is not correct then only re-apply (on the web) without depositing the application fee. Note that no further changes/amendments/enhancements are acceptable after the submission of the application fee, therefore, before submitting the application fee, the candidate must download confirm, and save his recent color photograph, accurate information, and signed PDF copy in the said Applicant’s Copy.

A User ID number will be provided on the Applicant’s Copy and using the User ID number, the candidate can send 02 (two) SMS through any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number in the following manner regarding the examination fee for the examination fee for serial no. 300/ as mentioned in the recruitment circular. – Total 335/- (Three Hundred and Thirty-Five) Taka including service charge of 35/- Taka and Teletalk, 200/- (Two Hundred) Taka and Teletalk for exam fee for serial no. Its service charge is Rs 23/- total Rs 223/- (two hundred and twenty-three) and examination fee for serial no. (One Hundred and Twelve) Taka will be deposited within 72 (Seventy-two) hours.
