Interested candidates are required to collect a resume format from the University Registrar’s Office / Website: www.butex.edu.bd along with 3 passport size color attested photographs, educational qualification (including all certificates and transcripts in case of teaching post), and attested copy of experience certificate and attested copy of National Identity Card. The application must be submitted. 05 (five) sets for the posts mentioned in Serial No.-01 to 05 and 08 to 13, 07 (seven) sets for the posts mentioned in Serial No.-06, and 07, and 02 (two) for the posts mentioned in Serial No.-14 to 25. Set, and complete the application form to be submitted.

Along with the application form, the candidate should submit the testimonial from the head of the last educational institution and the attested copy of the experience certificate from the hiring authority mentioning the pay scale. Experience in an official position means experience in related work in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institutions. The subject along with the post name should be mentioned clearly in the application form and on the envelope.

All applications should be sent to “Registrar, Bangladesh Textile University, Tejgaon, Dhaka-1208”. 600/- from any branch of Sonali Bank Ltd. online in favor of “Bangladesh Textile University, Account No.-0124200002183, Sonali Bank Ltd., Tejgaon Shi/A Branch, Dhaka” for the posts mentioned in Serial No.-1 to 12, respectively 500/- for the posts mentioned in Serial No.-13 Rs.300/- for the posts mentioned in Serial No. 14 & 15, for the posts mentioned in Serial No.-21 Rs.200/- for the posts mentioned in Serial No.-22 to 25 100/- should be remitted and the original copy of the cost memo should be attached with the application form.

Job aspirants must send application forms through the proper authority. The last date for sending the application form: is 25/02/2024 (during office hours). If the number of candidates for any post is high, a written examination may be arranged if necessary. Incomplete applications will be treated as outright rejection. Qualified/preliminary candidates will be intimated through the written test/interview date, time, and venue. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in a written test/interview. Original copies of all certificates and transcripts must be shown at the time of attending the interview.

The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason and the Authority shall not be bound to make appointments or issue interview cards due to the publication of the recruitment notice. Any documents submitted along with the application form will not be returned. Candidates who have passed through the traditional method must have first class in both graduation and post-graduation examinations. Third division/equivalent GPA in any public examination will not be accepted.

At the time of application, the candidate must be a degree holder, i.e. the application will not be accepted pending the result of the examination. The degrees obtained from different private universities in the country and the degrees obtained abroad must be equivalent to the degrees approved by this university. Candidates who have obtained degrees through online or distance learning cannot be considered for the appointment of teachers in any department. Teaching experience shall mean working experience in active teaching/research institutions at undergraduate (honors) and postgraduate level educational institutions (government, semi-government and autonomous). In the case of candidates coming from Government/Semi-Government/Scientific Research Institutions, half the period of service in that institution may be considered active teaching tenure. The teachers of this university can follow the rules for recruitment/upgradation to the post in which they are currently working only.

Leave without pay/leave or Extraordinary leave shall not be considered an active teaching period, but shall not be applicable in case of deputation. The quota will be followed in recruitment as per government rules. Certificates from appropriate authorities should be attached where applicable. The concerned candidates will have to give an “undertaking” not to take or give dowry for themselves or any member of their family after being appointed.
