Instructions regarding taking the written exam for the post of “Booking Assistant Grade-II & Ticket Collector Grade-II” of Bangladesh Railway. Candidates will enter the designated examination hall room and take their seats at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. After the commencement of the examination i.e. after 10:00 am and 02:00 pm, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center. No candidate shall leave the hall until the examination is over. After giving the answer sheet, the candidates will write their name, father’s name, district, registration number, and post name in the answer sheet with black ink ballpoint pen fill in the corresponding circles of the registration number, and sign the attendance list as per the instructions of the invigilators.

Candidates will be given a question paper. There will be 04 sets of question papers similar to the answer sheet ie Set-1, Set-2, Set-3, and Set-4. The question paper of similar/same set number will be given to the candidate who will get the answer sheet of the set number. Set Number of Answer Sheets The set number of question papers should be the same. After confirming this, the candidate will start giving answers. After the examination, the candidates will stay in their seats. The invigilators will collect the answer sheets. Candidates will leave the examination room after the invigilators have collected the answer sheets. Candidates cannot carry the question paper.

Bangladesh Railway Exam Instructions 2024

1. a. Instructions given at the bottom of the admit card should be read and followed very carefully.
b. No candidate can appear in the exam without an admit card. The attendance list will have each candidate’s registration number, his photograph next to his name, and a signature similar to that of the admit card printed. The photo and signature of the admit card will be compared with the photo and signature of the attendance list. If there is no match, the candidate will be expelled and legal action will be taken against him.
c. A search operation will be conducted against the fake candidates. Books, bags, watches, pocket watches, electronic watches, mobile phones, watch-like mobile phones, calculators, or any electronic/communication devices are strictly prohibited in the examination center. Candidates are not allowed to cover their ears during the examination. Candidates should not wear jewelry in the examination hall. Nothing like a credit card/bank card can be carried in the examination hall. If a candidate is found with any prohibited material in the examination room during the examination, it will be confiscated and his/her candidature will be canceled. Necessary legal action will be taken against the said candidate by expulsion.
d. Candidates are especially warned that if the registration number is not written correctly and not filled in correctly if any tampering or fluid is applied in the answer sheet, his/her candidature will be canceled.
e. There will be a total of 70 (seventy) questions in this exam. The full score will be 70 (seventy). Candidates will get 01 (one) mark for each correct answer and 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Full time for the exam is 1:30 (one hour and thirty minutes) hours. f. Candidates with disabilities who require an audio recorder should apply the audio recorder to the Joint Director General (Operations) and Convener, Divisional Selection Committee, Bangladesh Railway, Rail Bhavan, Dhaka by 20/02/2024 (during office hours).
f. Given the application submitted by Bangladesh Railways by the disabled candidates, a permission letter with a photograph will be issued only to the audio recorder authorized by Bangladesh Railways. An audio recorder with a photo permit issued by Bangladesh Railway has to appear at the examination hall along with the concerned disabled candidate.
g. Admit cards should be downloaded from the Teletalk website (http://br.teletalk.com.bd). Admit cards can be downloaded from the Teletalk website (http://br.teletalk.com.bd) from 19th February 2024 at 10:00 am. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination without an admit card. Candidates who have cleared the written test should bring the same admit card for the oral test.
h. In the case of any candidate who is found to be substantially deficient in the conditions mentioned in the recruitment circular, the candidate’s candidature will be canceled at any stage before or after the oral examination.

2. a. The members of the law and order force on duty at the entrance of the examination hall will ensure that no one from outside can enter the examination hall during the examination.
b. No candidate can enter the examination hall with prohibited items declared by the Government of Bangladesh, therefore, in the presence of the hall authorities and the responsible officials of Bangladesh Railway, members of the law and order force will ensure the entry of the candidates by metal detectors at the entrance of the examination hall.
c. During the examination, if any person pretending to be a member of law and order force/journalist/detective agency, PSC, Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Railways and representative of Bangladesh Railway or any other person wants to enter the examination center and halls without permission, the members of law and order force at the entrance will be responsible for the entrance. Inform the responsible officer of Railways and head of the institution.
