Bangladesh-China Power Company (Pvt.) Limited (BCPCL), a joint venture of NWPGCL and CMC, is looking for an energetic and promising person and inviting applications from Bangladeshi Nationals for immediate appointment on a contractual basis to the following post.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Chief Financial Officer shall act as a member of the management team of the company to assist the Managing Director with overall financial management, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations for good governance including development setup, systems, and legal functions of the company. He is responsible for financial forecasting & risk management and shall assist the Managing Director in negotiating project financing issues. He will take proper initiative in arranging and managing funds for the development projects. He will execute the Management Accounting System of the company.

Required Qualification and Experience:

1. At least a Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or BBA & MBA (Finance/Accounting) or equivalent degree from any recognized university. CA/CMA degree will get preference.

2. Minimum 2nd Class/Division in the academic career shall be required. Candidates passed the grading system must possess at least a GPA of 3.00 on a scale of 5.00 and a CGPA of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent.

3. At least 5 (five) years of working experience in a senior managerial position (DGM (A&F)/ equivalent & above) in the power sector.

4. At least 20 years of working experience as Asst. Manager & above position in large organizations in the relevant field of which 05 years in the power sector.

5. Must have knowledge of the country’s financial rules & regulations, Power Purchase Agreements and Financing from different sources, etc.

6. Must have strong participatory leadership ability and knowledge of Corporate Governance.

7. Must have strong communication skills in English (written & oral).

Allowances & Benefits:

a) House Rent Allowance, Medical Benefits, Festival Bonus, Fringe Benefits, Gratuity, Transport, Telephone, etc. will be given as per the pay structure and the rules of Bangladesh-China Power Company (Pvt.) limited.
b) Income Tax: To be paid by the employee.
