Dhaka University Affiliated Government 7 (Seven) College Admission Guidelines. Dhaka University Affiliated Seven College Undergraduate Program Admission Notice 2023. Academic year: 2022-2023. The 7 government colleges affiliated with Dhaka University are respectively (1) Dhaka College (2) Kabi Nazrul Government College (3) Eden Women’s College (4) Begum Badrunnessa Government Women’s College (5) Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College (6) Government Bangla College and (7) Applications are invited for admission to undergraduate programs for the academic year 2022-2023 in the departments of Govt. Titumir College.
Candidates of other units (if any) applied for by a student who has passed from any discipline other than humanities at a higher secondary or equivalent level participating in the admission process of the Arts and Social Science unit will be considered canceled. Other units interested in studying subjects covered by Arts and Social Science units Candidates will follow the instructions of their respective units.

Dhaka University Affiliated Seven College Academic Cost
- The admission fee will be around 7-8000 rupees.
- Admission + session fee per year is Tk 4-5000.
- 3-4000 rupees for final exam form fill per year.
- Total cost: In total the academic cost of 7 colleges is around 40-50 thousand rupees. This calculation may be more or less depending on the college and department.
- Cost of staying in halls: For staying in residential halls, you have to pay a fee of 4-5000 taka per year.
Eden Women’s College and Begum Badrunnessa Government Women’s College seats will be reserved for female students only and Dhaka College seats will be reserved for female students only. Besides, both male and female students can get admission to Government Titumir College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, and Government Bangla College. The admission process for the undergraduate program in the academic year 2022-2023 in the departments of arts and social science branches of the affiliated colleges will be completed through the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Dhaka. Certificates of degrees obtained will be issued by Dhaka University. Any other benefit of the University does not apply to admitted students.
Seven Colleges Affiliated to Dhaka University Initial Application Procedure
Apply online for admission to the undergraduate program of the academic year 2022-2023 in the above 7 colleges affiliated with Dhaka University.
For the initial application of admission online, the applicant should
a) The admission website (https://collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd) of affiliated government 7 colleges will have general admission instructions. Applicants can see the admission guidelines, notices, and links to the Arts and Social Science Unit of Government 7 Colleges affiliated with Dhaka University on the site. Read the admission guidelines and website guidelines carefully before applying.
(b) Method of Payment of Application Fee Admission-Examination Fee 600.00 (Six Hundred) Taka. The applicant can deposit the fee within the prescribed time limit at any branch of the four state-owned commercial banks (Sonali, Janata, Rupali, and Agrani) or online using a debit/credit card, or mobile financial services. Detailed information regarding the application and fee deposit is available on the said website.
c) Online Admission Form Filling:
Application for admission can be made through the website (https://collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd). The admission application will require the student’s secondary/equivalent and higher secondary/equivalent details, current address and mobile number, parent’s National Identity Card number (optional), quota information (where applicable), and a scanned photograph.
d) Students who have passed A-Level/Equivalent, O-Level/Equivalent Foreign Courses should immediately apply through the website (https://collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd) under the ‘Equivalence Application’ menu. The prescribed fee has to be submitted online. They can apply for the admission test by logging on to the same website as other students using the ‘Equivalence ID’ obtained after the equivalence.
Minimum Admission Qualification:
3. Candidate must have Secondary or equivalent from 2017 to 2020 and any education in Bangladesh from 2022 Higher Secondary in Humanities of the Board or Alim of Madrasa Board (General or Humanities) or Must have IAL/ A Level or equivalent foreign degree. The sum GPA obtained in Secondary and Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examinations (including 4th subject) should be a minimum of 6.0. In the case of holders of IGCSE / O Level and IAL / A Level or equivalent foreign certificate, the equivalent grade shall be calculated. Besides, the candidate must fulfill the prescribed qualification for the department in which he/she wants to be admitted.
4. Candidates who appeared in IGCSE / O Level examination held in 2017 or later and passed in at least 5 subjects and IAL / A Level examination results published after 31st July 2022 in at least two subjects (IGCSE / O Level and IAL / A Level- in its last examination certificate will be considered as the year next to the said examination) and those who have obtained at least B grade in 4 subjects and at least C grade in other 3 subjects and other diploma or certificate holders should apply online to participate in the entrance examination. The letter grade points obtained in IGCSE / O Level and IAL / A Level examinations will be as follows: A= 5.0, B=4.0, D=3.0, C-3.5
