The Private Teachers Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has already started preparations for the examination in March.
Candidates have to appear in an MCQ type of preliminary exam of 100 marks. The full duration of the exam is one hour. There will be a total of 100 questions in this exam. Candidates will get one mark for each correct answer, but for giving wrong answers, zero decimal 25 marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained for each wrong answer. Preliminary exam pass number is 40. Preliminary examination of the candidates will be conducted in three stages i.e. school stage, school stage-II, and college stage in separate papers.

The Private Teachers Registration Authority (NTRCA) is planning to conduct the 18th Teacher Registration Preliminary Exam on 15 March 2024 (Friday). On March 15 (Friday), the organization wants to organize the preliminary examination of school level school level-2 and college level-2. 18 lakh 65 thousand candidates are waiting to take part in the preliminary examination. Preliminary examination for teacher registration was organized in 24 districts. Conventionally, this exam is organized on Friday and Saturday. On the first day, school-level, general school-II exams, and college-level exams are usually conducted.
18th NTRCA MCQ Exam Date 2024
Candidates applying for teacher registration have to attend preliminary, written, and viva examinations to be finally registered. A preliminary examination of 100 marks was held. Bengali, English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge subjects in this exam have MCQ questions of 25 marks from each subject. Preliminary examination will be organized in 24 districts of the country. Candidates who have secured a minimum of 40 marks in prelims get the opportunity to participate in the written examination, the next stage of teacher registration. Some fundamental changes have been introduced in the teacher registration process since the 18th teacher registration. So far candidates have been registered on a subject basis but from now candidates will be registered on a post basis as per MPO policy.
