Regarding the preliminary test results of the 17th Teacher Registration Examination 2020. It is hereby informed for the information of all concerned that the Preliminary Test of the 17th Teacher Registration Examination was held on last 30th and 31st of December 2022 under the Private Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA). A total of 11,93,978 candidates applied for the preliminary test at school II, school, and college levels. The total number of candidates participating in the examination is 6,08,492.

Among them 90,191 candidates at the school-II level, 3,02,422 candidates at the school level, and 2,15,879 candidates at the college level. The result of the preliminary test was published today February 22, 2023, in the afternoon. The number of pass candidates is 15,379 at the school-II level, 62,864 at the school level, and 73,193 at the college level totaling 1,51,436. The overall pass rate among the test takers is 24.89%.
