Sunamganj Municipal Office Recruitment Circular 2023. Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Local Government Department, Municipal-1 Branch Memorandum No: 46.00.0000.002.22.822 Dated: 15th March 2023 H In view of the clearance received in original, for the purpose of appointing people to the following 02 vacancies in the revenue sector of Sunamganj Municipality. Applications are being invited from permanent citizens.

Sunamganj Municipal Office Recruitment Conditions:

1. in the application form

  • (a) Name of the candidate (Bengali and English),
  • (b) name of father/husband,
  • (c) Mother’s name,
  • (d) permanent address,
  • (e) present address,
  • (f) date of birth (as per educational qualification certificate),
  • (g) Nationality,
  • (h) Religion,
  • (j) Educational Qualification (Name of Examination, Name of Educational Institution, Name of Board/University, GPA/CGPA obtained, Year of Passing),
  • (j) name of quota (if any),
  • (k) Apply to Mayor, Sunamganj Municipality, Sunamganj mentioning experience (if any), etc.

2. Applicant age should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 30 years as of 12/04/2023. However, the age limit is relaxable up to 18-32 years in the case of sons and daughters of brave freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and disabled candidates. An affidavit is not admissible for proof of age. As per the Ministry of Public Administration’s memorandum number 05.00.0000.170.11.017.23.149 dated 22 September 2022, the candidates can apply if their age is within the maximum age limit on 25-03-2020.

3. The application form should reach the address of the Mayor, Sunamganj Municipality, Sunamganj by post during office hours by 12/04/2023. No application will be accepted through direct / courier service. Applications received after the specified time will be considered canceled immediately.

4. The following documents should be attached to the application form:

  • (a) Photocopies of original certificates of all educational qualifications (attested by a gazetted officer of first class).
  • (b) Citizenship certificate issued by the Mayor/Chairman concerned
  • (c) 03 (three) copies of recent passport-size color photographs (attested by a gazetted officer of first class).
  • (d) The candidate has to submit a bank draft/pay order in favor of the Mayor, Sunamganj Municipality of Tk.500/- (Five Hundred) and Tk.
  • (e) Photocopy of National Identity Card/Digital Birth Registration Certificate (Attested by First Class Gazetted Officer).
  • (f) Character certificate issued by a first-class gazetted officer.
  • (g) For the purpose of issuing of Admit Card to the correct address, a return envelope with an unused postage stamp of 15/- (fifteen) size 9.5 x 4.5′ bearing your name and address should be enclosed with the application form.

5. If the candidate is the child of a freedom fighter/martyr, then he/she has to submit the attested copy of the certificate issued by the Ministry of Freedom Fighters in favor of his/her parents.

6. In the case of disabled candidates, the attested copy of the enrollment certificate of the Department of Social Services must be submitted.

7. Employed candidates must apply through the recruiting authority within the prescribed time.

8. Latest government policy regarding quota will be followed.

9. In the case of recruitment, the Municipal Employees Employment Rules, 1992, and the instructions issued by the Ministry (Memorandum No. 1175 dated: 03.10.2011 ) will be followed accordingly.

10. Incomplete, defective, and late applications will be treated as outright rejection. In case of attestation, the name, title, and seal of the attesting officer should be clear.

11. Candidates who have passed the written examination must submit the original certificate in accordance with all the information mentioned in the application form while giving the oral examination.

12. Applicant’s name, address, post title, and quota (if any) should be clearly mentioned on the envelope.

13. Legal action will be taken against the concerned candidate if he is appointed to the job by concealing any information, and the appointment order will be canceled.

14. Initially the selected candidates will be informed about the date and venue of the examination through a letter in due course. No kind of TA/DA will be given to the candidate for participating in the selection test.

15. The decision of the authority in the matter of appointment will be considered final.
