The total active service/experience of the candidate in direct recruitment to the advertised posts will be calculated as follows:

• a) 75% of service in public university but maximum 12(times) years including full service in self-post/feeder post.
• b) 60% of service in Government/Autonomous Institutions but not more than 10 (ten) years.
• c) 50% of the service period of the index holder of Government Banks/Government Development Schemes and MPO schools and colleges but a maximum of 10 (ten) years.
• d) An officer shall apply for reckoning of past service (where applicable) within six months of joining.
• (e) Any period of part-time contractual or private employment shall not be counted as a period of employment.

Condition No. 7 shall not apply to those officers who have joined the service of Jagannath University before the 70th meeting of the Syndicate held on 3/12/2015. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason and the Authority shall not be bound to make appointments or issue interview cards due to the publication of recruitment notice.
