Recruitment circular for various posts in Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate. Applications are being invited from genuine Bangladeshi citizens with the following qualifications for the direct recruitment of manpower for the following posts under the revenue sector of the Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense under the following conditions. Candidate must be a permanent citizen of Bangladesh and must have a National Identity Card or copy/slip of online application for obtaining a National Identity Card.

 

No application will be accepted without a National Identity Card or an online copy/slip of receipt of the National Identity Card. Candidates who should be between 18 and 30 years as on 1st April 2023. The age limit is relaxable up to 32 years in case of children of freedom fighters quota and those who have attained 30 years of age as on March 25, 2020 will be considered eligible to apply.

Candidates who want to participate in the exam can fill out the application form on this website http://fscd.teletalk.com.bd. Date and Time of Application Filling and Examination Fee Submission: 30.04.2023 Morning: 10:00 AM. Last date and time for submission of application form: 31.05.2013 at 05:00 PM. Candidates who have received a User ID within the said period can submit the exam fee via SMS within 72 (seventy-two) hours from the time of submission of the application form online.

 

As the information filled in the online application form will be used in all the subsequent activities, the candidate himself will be hundred percent sure about the correctness of all the information provided before submitting the application form online. Candidates shall keep a color print copy of the online filled application form as a reference for any examination-related requirements. Once the application form is submitted, the application preview can be seen along with the computer image.

 

Receipt of admit card will be intimated in due course on the website http://fscd.teletalk.com.bd and through SMS on the candidate’s mobile phone (only eligible candidates). All communication related to the examination will be done on the mobile phone provided by the candidate in the online application form, so it is recommended to keep the number active at all times, read the SMS, and follow the instructions received immediately. After using the User ID and Password sent in the SMS, the candidate will download and take out the color print of the admit card containing the information such as roll number, post name, photo, exam date, time and place/center name, etc. The candidate must produce the admit card at the time of appearing in the written test and also at the time of appearing in the oral test if passed.

 

Candidates who submit the application form accurately will get a User ID photo and an Applicant’s copy with their signature. The applicant’s copy should be printed or downloaded and saved in color. A User ID number will be given in the Applicant’s copy and using the User ID number the candidate can send 02 (two) SMS through any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number in the following manner for an examination fee of 200/- in case of serial no. For teletalk charges of 24/- a total of 224/- and for serial no. 05 and 06  100/- for Teletalk charges of 12/- a total of 112/- shall be deposited within 72 (seventy-two) hours. It is specially mentioned here that ‘Even if all the parts of the application form are submitted online, the online application form will not be accepted under any circumstances until the examination fee is submitted.’

 

The appointing authority may accept or reject any application and partially/fully modify/cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason whatsoever. The decision of the appointing authority will be considered final in this case. No objection will be entertained in this regard. The authority reserves the right to reduce/increase the number of posts as mentioned in the notification.

Any changes/amendments (if any) related to this recruitment notification will be available on the Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate’s own website (www.fireservice.gov.bd). Written, practical and oral tests will be conducted for the said posts. Besides, the date, time, and place of other examinations will be notified through SMS and will also be published on the website of the Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense (www.fireservice.gov.bd). Candidates must clear all the prescribed exams.
